Chroma

The chroma output is often used as a green overlay on top of your production. Then when you remove - or key out - the green you are left with only the graphics.

Customising the chroma output

In the settings tab, you can change the chroma colour of this output window.

This is useful when you want to use green graphics, and would prefer to key out a different colour.

Settings

Outputting to a hardware switcher

Connect your Mac or PC to a video switcher and turn off ‘Mirror Displays’.

Drag the Chroma graphics window offscreen and use CMD/CTRL+F to toggle fullscreen mode.

Use an Upstream Key in your video switcher and set the source to your Mac or PCs input. Turn on the Upstream Key.

Adjust the chroma settings within the switcher to properly key out the chroma colour that you have chosen. You may need to play with these settings for a while to get the best results.
